Just my prediction based on everyone else's remaining fixtures. I think 36 will be enough with our goal difference
All of Swansea Huddersfield and palace have barely averaged a point per game so providing one of them continues that form 36 will do it [Post edited 7 Apr 2018 19:28]

If we play like we have for the last 2 matches arsenal will beat us easily. It’s a good time to play them though. They have the europa league that’s their only real interest. Win that and they’re in champions league. I don’t think they’ll catch Chelsea for the last europa league place, and I think they’d rather not qualify for it anyway. Champions league via Europa league or bust. After fielding a very strong side Thursday, they might not be right up for tomorrow. | |

Good evening, i like everyone on here bar a few, are clutching at straws as to whether we will survive. I have come across an interesting fact that we can all hold on to for the remaining weeks of the season.
It is week 33 of the premiership, and in the previous four seasons one of the bottom three at this stage have gone on to escape relegation.
It can be done, so although it looks bleak, maybe just maybe we might survive. | | | |

It seems that our rivals are grinding out draws, which is what I'd have expected from Pellegrino. The Newcastle game was the first where we just capitulated and got easily beaten and it made it hard to justify keeping him any longer.
But, the problem is, Hughes's Stoke team this season have been characterized by their lack of fighting spirit and have capitulated, like we did against Newcastle, over and over again, 0-3 to West Ham, 0-4 and 0-5 to Chelsea, 1-5 to Spurs, 2-7 to Man City etc (they've shown a bit more spirit under Lambert but probably too late to save them from the damage Hughes did), so Hughes is the worst possible manager to grind out the points we need to stay up. I still hope he does and I'm going to watch us play Chelsea twice in spite of Hughes's results against them this season, hoping that there's still a chance. It's the hope that gets you. | |
