So then...forum aside this site has become a little bit of a walking disaster over the last year (and more) as someone pointed out the other day the site rarely gets updated with news since the last writer got fed up of the abuse of doing so..!
Anyway, the good (!) news is that I have a couple of people prepared to write and I have some time that I can devote to it again. What I dont want to happen is the site to become a regurgitation of news elsewhere although news elsewhere can of course create opinion articles.
The question though is what do you - the good readers of Planet Swans (or as seems to be the one person with endless usernames) - want to see from the site going forward? | | | |  |

Right let's get this straight then.
This poster started a thread condemning people on here with multi user names.
He was found out to be using another user name himself and being hypocritical by his own admittance.
That's not fair on the site or other posters on here....on most sites multi usernames are discourag ed by a soft or hard ban. That's how it s.
Are you saying then it's ok for posters to have multi usernames because as mods we don't know what you want in this respect. Can you enlighten everyone please?

I actually like Res as a poster and I have copped abuse a couple of times.
My adviice is don't take it to seriously at the end of the day we are all Swans fans.

There is no reason why you would feasibly want to ban anyone who uses multiple usernames
Especially as you have nothing to base that proof on other than some spurious things that you as a moderator can see in the background. And the same information that I told you categorically over the weekend should not be put into the public domain (i.e. IP addresses which do not prove the existence of a multiple username)
It is not a case of you not knowing what I want it is more a case of you just deciding to enforce something that you personally don't like but to most of the watching public we can step away from because this is - after all - just an internet forum to discuss a variety of topics
And for the record I couldn't give two hoots what other sites have as ways of dealing with things - many football forums will ban any non football chat. As someone else pointed out it is part of the "charm" of this site | | | |

Bones this public humiliation of you by the site owner could easily have been avoided if you knew how to moderate properly. If you weren’t happy with someone having two usernames to use to their advantage all you had to was ban the newest one and say fuçk all like I used to do.
