Mind you didn't help City as they were still relegated at the end of the season on goal difference , due partly to time wasting in final minutes of game v Liverpool when they mistakenly thought a draw would be enough as they thought we were losing at home to Wimbledon, but wer drew 0-0 and they drew 2-2

Strangely I remember driving home and David Mellor was slaughtering Le Tiss for being lazy on 606, only for Matt to call in and put him straight–-quality

Bit condescending, that would have been a great goal for any team, in any age.
I loved seeing that type of player, MLT was and still is one of my favourite players. I doubt two goals of extreme quality, will be scored by the same player, in the same game too often, as per Matt's double against Newcastle.
Kinkladze was a diamond, at a time that was shocking for us, so many rubbish players. I think he'd do well in this team we have now.
Still stood in the Kippax
