1st day tomorrow

Kalashnikov will win the first (Supreme Novices 1.30)

Favourite will win the Champion Hurdle (3.30) but as no price, my each way alternatives are Melon and Elgin.

In the 4.10 - the OLBG Mares Hurdle - I fancy La Bague Au Roi

Easy!

I like Kalashnikov, but the ground is pretty boggy at the moment and Summerville Boy beat him on heavy before.

I think the ground solidifies the claim of the shorties - they'll all like cut

I like

Rathvinden - NH Chase
Singlefarmpayment - Ultima
Any Second Now - Close Brother

Definitely Red in the Gold Cup on Friday. Ellison is buzzing about his chances and it will be a real slog which will suit this big, powerful horse.

Wish I could be like David Watts

Seem to recall that whenever the ground was heavy best to follow the Irish horses that could gallop forever.

Obviously it's pretty bottomless so getting the trip, going on the ground and so on are vital.

1.30 Don't really fancy the front 4 so have done a few of the others, including Mengli Khan and Paloma Blue.
2.10 Petit Mouchoir is the value.
2.50 Vicente should be able to battle round for a place.
3.30 Buveur should win the big one. Wicklow Brave for the forecast.
4.10 Benie des Dieux could be anything. Worth a nibble.
4.50 A real slog, with amateurs on board. Not many will survive this - hopefully Rathvinden, No Comment and Pylonthepressure will.
5.30 Any Second Now and Mister Whitaker.

A good card today and I'm heading off there later so here's hoping. Good luck whatever you fancy.

Should have given you Mrs PPs selections - she had a 9/1 winner.

Had Melon each way and Coo Star Sivola, so a profitable day for the Pinner household.

My best 3 today

1.30 - Black Op
2.10 Black Corton
2.50 Mount Mews

Came out a little on top yesterday but it was hard work. Today is perhaps slightly easier, but we shall see:

1.30 I wasn't sure about Elliot's horses last year and he ended up top trainer, so it's a dangerous game, but I'll lay Samcro for a place - a cheap lay really. I don't really want him to lose though as he's going to be so good. Brahma Bull and Duc des Genievres have e/w chances but my main selection is Vision des Flos e/w.
2.10 Ballyoptic and Presenting Percy for me here but many of these have some jumping issues so it should be eventful.
2.50 Le Breuil, Red Indian, Springtown Lake and The Organist for a bit of interest.
3.30 Altior a worthy favourite but Douvan might be fit enough to spring a surprise. Should be a great race if they are both 100% - probably one to just sit and watch.
4.10 Weird race - The Last Samurai if I have to have a bet, which I normally do. The French could get one placed at a big price, especially if Elliott was actually struggling a bit.
4.50 Mercenaire I fancy in an e/w double with Vision des Flos - a connected double in the form book. Look My Way, Padleyourowncanoe and Turning Gold are also worth a fiver.
5.30 No idea yet and probably no idea later either.

Good luck anyway.

Relegate brough me a very late equaliser yesterday, so I am hanging on in there.

Today looks extremely difficult.

1.30 No idea really - Finian's for a bit of interest e/w.
2.10 Not a clue at the moment.
2.50 Un de Sceaux looks best but he'll miss Ruby for sure.
3.30 Penhill and The New One both e/w is probably the best chance today.
4.10 No idea right now.
4.50 I like Cap Soleil but she carries a penalty in this so she might struggle to beat them all - just an e/w chance.
5.30 Aubusson e/w

Have fun.

Had Splash of Ginge at 29's and it came 2nd :-(

Any ideas on 17.30? PP paying 5 places for e/w

I had Ginge and the Storyteller but would have preferred Ginge to have won, obviously. Was a messy finish which didn't do him any favours.

The last looks pretty hopeless too, but i've got Aubusson, Sugar Baron and The Young Master, as they're the ones who look most likely to get the trip in this shitty ground.

Yeah had Sugar Baron too, let's see. About even over 2 days still so hopefully tomorrow is better.
