Option to Buy Mesa is €7m on 10:31 - Feb 20 with 4731 views | WarwickHunt | He's the only person in world football capable of doing the job, mun! £13k a week well spent... I dread to think how much we'll lose on Bony unless he's an insurance write off. Never saw that one coming...

Option to Buy Mesa is €7m on 10:38 - Feb 20 with 4699 views | perchrockjack | Phil. Was discussing this in a bar last Saturday in The Hague with a local fan ( of Feyenoord) He was a lawyer involved in sports and it was interesting what he said about Bony Seems we could claim for his inability to play because of injury but more complicated regarding career being ended . Either way, I suggest Bony is best forgotten My opinion

Option to Buy Mesa is €7m on 10:45 - Feb 20 with 4678 views | majorraglan | Maybe, but the money fro. Mawsons sale will be needed to reinforce the squad with new players to cover the gaps that are starting to or have appeared. Taking a €5.5m haircut is just really poor show. Add that to a potential loss on Baston and that's a big write down.
Option to Buy Mesa is €7m on 10:45 - Feb 20 with 4677 views | pencoedjack | I don't disagree Warwick. Our sale-able assets are diminishing rapidly as well. I pointed this is out last summer but was told a year is a long time in football.
Option to Buy Mesa is €7m on 11:02 - Feb 20 with 4631 views | Shaky | The DoFMeister strikes again. Just think, THINK, where the club would be without him saving the club on a daily basis from the footballing novice Americans.

Option to Buy Mesa is €7m on 11:15 - Feb 20 with 4585 views | WarwickHunt | Aye - they'd probably have sacked a highly respected coach and replaced him with a clueless American no-mark if it wasn't for our hero. Oh, hang on...

Option to Buy Mesa is €7m on 13:04 - Feb 20 with 4274 views | Dewi1jack | Had a look at this story this morning before going out. The whole transfer is a crazy situation looking at the stories. This link goes to the original crazy transfer saga of will he won't he? http://sportwitness.co.uk/swansea-city-transfer-turns-absolute-mess-clubs-war-qu Same source- not sure how good a source it is mind. Don't shoot the messenger!! Who put a buy out clause that low in his contract? Our board INCLUDING our extremely communicative SD (get a grip Stu Mac and communicate with the members who put you there will you?) must have talked the contract through. Or is Beaky allowed to do all the £ multi million deals himself, without the need for other board members to voice an opinion? Deals that could lose/ cost with little return £ hundreds of thousands (that Aussie goalkeeper, Falkirk's whole academy?) or £Millions like Baston, Mesa, Bony, Tabafatty, Gomis, Grimes, N'Gog etc Or are even our clubs allowed solicitors to look at the contract terms and say they're ridiculous? But, we're in the PL and we should be grateful for it. Beaky's kept us there single handedly Well done. Nice one. Thanks You have your medal and an ego to hang it on The fact is yes, we're in the PL. A league awash with monetary opportunities, from TV money to free Global advertising. Money that properly invested in players AND facilities ,which thankfully are a long, long way off from some bloke turning up with a pair of boots at Llandarcy, would have ensured our future as a club, for many generations to come. Yes, we'll always run the risk of relegation- hopefully not the crash and burn of the Toshack/ Sharpe/ Streul years or the sacking of near enough the whole first team. But if we do, then I was hoping, maybe naively, when we first went up, that they'd be a bit of "rainy day" money because of the way the club was running. It's not appearing to be well run. And if we do get relegated some season (we'll always bee in the fight, as will 10/11 other clubs) my worry is we'll end up doing a Pompey and going straight through. That's when we'll find out the coffers are bare, both for the club and the Trust. A Trust that's supposed to ensure the very future of our club and possibly has the means at the mo, to have a very nice rainy day fund indeed
| If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious. |

Option to Buy Mesa is €7m on 13:19 - Feb 20 with 4225 views | nantywatcher | I would be amazed if any club wanted to stump up £7mill on Mesa, even more incredulous if Bony was worth more than a couple of mill, and Baston anything more than loose change, whereas all those £5mill bargains people complained about look to have stood the test of time. Yeah?
