Wow. Remarkable stuff. Either something went wrong internally or Boro are the latest club to have some kind of episode.
Would love him here but... a. he'd never come here. b. there is obviously something wrong because he suddenly gets sacked and this is the third time c. I don't think Ollie is going anywhere even if we go down.
At the start of the season I put a few quid on Middlesboro to win the division which is probably the main reason why they aren't doing as well as expected......
Extra mature cheddar......a simple cheese for a simple man
3 jobs in a row all has looked well from the outside but he's been sacked, something not quite right about Monk and for the money he spent and squad he has they are woefully under performing this season
I agree this one looks odd but I thoughts Swansea were far too hasty to sack him and have struggled ever since - and I thought he walked on Leeds not the other way round?
Think the manner of their play every week was a better indication of which way it was going than Monk's (debatable) record. Try finding a Boro fan with a positive take on him.
I get a whiff of Mark Hughes empty arrogance from him these days to be honest - taking over the Champions of Europe must have got to him...
It makes you wonder whether clubs sack managers because they really think that things are going to change, or whether they know nothing very much is going to change but just like to be seen to be doing something.
