Looks like the opportunity has passed now. People who have already bought in weeks/months ago will be looking to offload these to the people coming late to the party.

Thats the crazy thing about it, stuff like online shopping e.g. Amazon and Ebay etc all use conventional payment debit/credit card, cheque or PayPay.
Stuff like dark web purchases and money laundering seems to be its only use? I don't think they're taking payment with it down ASDA? And I dont think my local TSB branch, other banks or investment funds would deal with it or see it as legit either?

I fully understand your choice! When you think of it? You've been putting your money into a 'get-rich-quick' initiative with a far better reason and moral argument..... You are allocating ALL 'get-rich-quick' equity for yourself and not for a bunch of complete and utter scumbags i.e. Yanks, Jenkins and sell-outs.

Robert Bueller is going to wish he hadn't done that.
If he wanted to quietly give $90K to charity that would have been a fine thing to do. But no. He wanted to post a COME AND GET IT message to the world.
So many ways this can end badly. Twit.

This ride is far from over guys. I recommend you educate yourselves on the underlying technology and it's uses. Even if Bitcoin drops there are others like Ethereum that have huge potential. Now is not too late!!!!

On a serious note. If the Trust were to risk a proportion of their money in this space with the backing of the fans (We have nothing to lose) would you be behind it?

In 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz made the first purchase of physical goods using Bitcoin.
He paid 10,000 Bitcoin for two pizzas.
Five thousand Bitcoin per pizza seemed like a fair deal at the time.
Today, the same amount would buy you a Notting Hill mansion, valued at £17m. In fact, the sellers of 4 Stanley Gardens will only accept bids in bitcoin - not pounds or dollars.
Indeed the rising value of these cryptocurrency shares the last few months is absolutely breathtaking
Ethereum is it good buy if you want to get in on the ground floor this time last year it was peanuts for this year now at the end of this year it will be valued at over $500 and Rising
Will the bubble burst soon or will the prices keep rising that is the question

Ethereum is still a good buy in my opinion. It's up £35 today alone but there's all sorts of speculation of where the price will go next year. Once they solve issues with scalabiility, privacy and safety which are part of the road map for the next 2-3 years then the price could rise rise significantly.
If you look at all this as an outsider then it does look like a bubble but if you understand the tech and see just how much is going on in this space and it's potential then it is really hard not to get excited about it.
It think I have to say that this is my own opinion and is not financial advice. You should only risk what you are willing to lose.

I have some skin in the game, but only because I have taken back my initial investment. It is very high risk. (And there may be a tax liability.)

I'm not giving financial advice but I would sign up to Coinbase in the first instance and buy whatever you can afford to lose on a weekly or monthly basis over the next couple of years. While you are doing this educate yourself on the tech.
In fact f4ck spending money on the Swans and get into Crypto becuase it's more exciting.
I don't really mean that but just get yourself in the game. If nothing else and this was a massive bubble you'd at least be in at an early stage :-)
In my honest opinion though if the Trust were really forward thinking and able to risk a small portion of their money our issues with the current board would be solved in a few years time and we could take over the club. It wont happen but what a story it would be. Jack to a King to a Sad state of a club with c4nts running it to Billionaires!

I’ve invested in a new coin Electroneum (ETN). I managed to get 15000 coins in the Ico. The wallet is finally set to go live the middle of this week and there’s a lot of people who think this will be the next big coin. It’s currently around $0.11 but will drop initially when it goes live, that’s when it’ll be the ideal time to invest if you didn’t manage to get some in the ico. I’ll be getting a few £100 more then.
