whats ahead? on 19:32 - Oct 30 with 561 views | Woodrow_Wilson | We finally replaced Wanyama this summer with Lemina, and a fine replacement he is. But we will now struggle as we did when Wanyama was out, we didn't have any cover then and we don't now. The lack of goals is worrying. We sold J Rod and again we didn't bring in a replacement. We're crying out now for an attacking midfielder that can put a pass through the channels, why did we not bring several in during the summer? One to play the majority of games and another as cover. I'm afraid the buck stops with Les on this. I'm angry!!!

But they're not, so all in all we buy pretty well within the budget that we have. It's clear though despite having a forwards in the squad with plenty of international experience it still ideally needs strengthening in January. To blame Les though for not being able to go and buy a striker that is better then we have is ridiculous, blame the owners

whats ahead? on 21:52 - Oct 30 with 500 views | patred | Do we know what the owner has in mind for us? Is he going to follow Kats recipe of only doing just enough to get us in the top half? Or does he want more? if he does want more, will he allow us to spend more to ensure those expectations? Or is he one of those who expects more, but is not prepared to spend. Truth is we don't know hardly anything about him or his intentions for our club, and he has been here nearly 6 months now. 6 months, and not a word from him or his daughter (who it was claimed he bought us for). You would think he would have attempted to engage with us by now. I suppose we will get some indication in the January window, by who we'll target, if any! Who we will attempt to keep, if any? His ambition or lack of it will be there for us to see [Post edited 30 Oct 2017 22:42]

We've still bought in Gabba, Lemina and Wesley - all good additions to the squad. The problem is the lack of creativity from midfield, we need a "Silva/Mata/Lallana/Ozel" style player to open up defences and create chances for the forwards. Sorry, but Boufal and Nathan just do not have the qualities at this level. Perhaps one of Sims and Hesketh would do better eventually. The next transfer window is key, we must buy in creativity, ship out Long and Austin and get a proven goal scorer to help Gabba.
