Here's the way I see it. You're watertight source, which you've now exposed by the way, said they were in Mesa's house two weeks ago which involved emergency services and all that jazz. In the two weeks that followed he started in the Carling Cup and been in the squad for every premier league game since the alleged event.
It's just my opinion that certain things shouldn't be put on an Internet forum, but with people like yourself about I suppose it's now how the world works. Sad.
