Couldn't agree more mush! I loved the 3rd division and still had a season ticket then - we had some great seasons of promotions and winning every f**king match, now all the w*nky fans match the w*nky players.

i assume you mean the promotion seasons? Not the dreadful majority of seasons we spent. The shit football and Jason Euell. Losing to Nottingham Forest on the final game of the season and it potentially being the clubs last game.

When we got relegated in 2005 it was a due to a revolving door management policy, failing to replace our best players adequately and a bloated squad full of averageness.

At the top we are owned by a woman who wants out with the maximum pay off who has already sold 4/5 of the club to questionable buyers seeking a vehicle to launder their cash out of China. Under them we have a DOF who's prime motivation is self preservation. We have a manager who is not up to the task managing a squad weakened by years of asset stripping and under investment. And we have mercenaries is the squad who only care about money.
The situation is similar to 2005, there is one big difference though. This time I simply don't care if we go down. In fact I'd go further, it's exactly what the club deserves and it's a necessity to get shut of the Chinese, Reed, and all the other parasites. [Post edited 10 Sep 2017 13:57]

I cannot disagree with most of what you say there. However, I think the situation would also mean we do not just drop out of the PL, but quickly after do a Coventry and sink all the way down down and down, as Lander take tens of millions out of the club during years of demise. | |

No way man. I am happy to drop into the Championship as that is an exciting league. But League One and League Two do nothing for us as fans or the club. Championship is where it is at. | |

I think you're getting carried away here. Yes it's a poor start to the season but we are much stronger on and off the pitch than 2005. The team is short of a couple of players but it's not a bad group and should be nowhere near relegation, it will be nowhere near Europe either. For me we'll finish around 12th.
Let's just give MP and the new owners some time to turn this corner, without the usual knee jerk nonsense. | |
