Seriously what is going on in this World at the moment, you just cannot move for people arched looking at that silly piece of tech.
People just don't 'communicate' anymore, it's really sad. At what point does this level out and people start rebelling? All the kids now are scared of their own shadow, they're growing up without the ability to socialise in the true sense.
There's nothing wrong with technology in moderation but things are getting out of hand for me. It's all too easy now.
Peace

Siguardsson transfer saga does not help when your check your phone every five minutes to see if he has left, then the saga goes on for 5/6 weeks.
I find myself reaching for my phone on too many occasions with my one side of the brain telling me to stop, I have a small addiction.
The last few years I have noticed a shift in youngsters going to gym and not to the pub and probably trying to get the perfect image of themselves for selfies on facebook(steroids on a massive increase), when in my era we just got smashed on the weekends and no camera around to catch us up to our mischieves. But every generation says you won't beat my generation.

I'm as guilty as anyone, yesterday Mrs and I had a day out and I was all over the phone looking for transfer updates then my Mam and Dad joined us and I was still on it Mother played hell
One thing I don't do though is use it whilst Driving, loads do and on Motorways crazy absolutely crazy.
Love how there's an assumption people who are questioning this lifestyle choice, are ancient.
Many of the cool kids out there don't use facebook and many have changed from a smart phone to some little piece of crap. This isn't a generational thing, as already alluded to there are plenty of older people obsessed; look at the plethora of betting adverts out there, these are not just targeted at kids.
This is a problem that has only been around 5 mins and I do believe in time we'll find it caused a lot of problems.

I've just remembered, when we were away to Bournemouth a few years ago - we wandered into this pub - tiny place, that had a ban on mobile phones. It was great - but only 1 toilet between everyone!!

Driving a vehicle when using mobile phone should lead to car confiscation.
It's done with insurance as it's dangerous
It's so with using mobile
You don't have to have an Audi ,BMW or Bentley to have hands free phone
Problem is drivers believe their social life is more important than concentrating on driving and looking for hazards .. People are getting killed daily and we allow this to go on
I got up early last Sunday to watch MOTD and there was an American preacher talking about how in times past everyone would come in before the service and talk to their neighbours, asking how they were, how family was, what was happening, etc. Now he said everyone comes in and instead of talking to people next to them, they were communicating with people elsewhere via their smartphones. Irony was, his smartphone buzzed right there on his pulpit which gave his congregation a laugh. That's all I can say as I've got to go and answer some Facebook messages now .....
