Boudebouz on 14:10 - Aug 2 with 2515 views | magicdaps10 | There is no money until we sell someone. The question that should be asked is......where has it gone!?!

Boudebouz on 14:14 - Aug 2 with 2496 views | jack247 | God yeah, I'm not disputing that for a minute. Plenty still think HJ is some kind of demigod
Boudebouz on 14:20 - Aug 2 with 2450 views | E20Jack | We posted a £13m loss last year. Our operating costs are £117.5m, our PL income is £109m. Where is the money? People really do need to start to understand our financial position.

Boudebouz on 14:57 - Aug 2 with 2288 views | Daggyjack | Aah yes, that's how we grow as a club and compete at this level. Like I said, rubbish.
Boudebouz on 14:58 - Aug 2 with 2271 views | E20Jack | Not with you. This is a discussion, say what you mean and stop being so cryptic. Why is it rubbish that we don't have any money? I have just given you the figures, so explain.

Boudebouz on 15:13 - Aug 2 with 2220 views | Flashberryjack | "We posted a £13m loss last year. Our operating costs are £117.5m, our PL income is £109m. Where is the money?" Very good question that, maybe the clubs accounts lost £13 million, I wonder how much our directors lost ?

Boudebouz on 15:18 - Aug 2 with 2176 views | E20Jack | No dividends were paid last year. dividends can only be paid if the club makes a profit. But of course they did draw a wage, of which I believe HJ's is 500k from memory. Could be wrong on that. We do need to dissolve the notion we have money though as we quite simply don't. The accounts don't lie.

Boudebouz on 15:18 - Aug 2 with 2170 views | AngelRangelQS | Relocated to the bank accounts of rubbish players, their agents and their former clubs as well as our list of failed managers Gomis Tabanou Baston Eder Paloschi VDH Emnes Montero Grimes Monk Bob Guidolin
Boudebouz on 15:21 - Aug 2 with 2155 views | E20Jack | Correct. Plus the academy and the training ground. Hopefully people will slowly realise that due to this, we cant go spunking the Gylfi money on older players as we will find ourselves back to square 1 again. [Post edited 2 Aug 2017 15:22]

Boudebouz on 15:29 - Aug 2 with 2106 views | Flashberryjack | "We do need to dissolve the notion we have money though as we quite simply don't" You'll not have any argument from me on that one, there's been to many with their noses in the trough to have any left. "The accounts don't lie" Don't be so naive

Boudebouz on 15:35 - Aug 2 with 2077 views | E20Jack | The accounts don't lie, it is not naive. If the accounts show we made a loss in the financial year, then we made a loss. There are no magic money trees unfortunately.

Boudebouz on 15:36 - Aug 2 with 2073 views | UplandsJack | Hang on second guys, Now I'm no expert but if I recall correctly our latest accounts ran for 14 or 15 months to get the end of year to 1 August. It was stated at the time, they would therefore show a loss. But the following year (next) would show a nice profit thus giving dividends to those concerned. Sure it was heavily discussed on here some time back......
Boudebouz on 15:42 - Aug 2 with 2051 views | E20Jack | The set of accounts before last were over a 14 month period (£1.1m profit). The following set of accounts was a normal tax year £14.6m loss.

Boudebouz on 15:44 - Aug 2 with 2039 views | Flashberryjack | Accounts don't lie mun, but of course they can be manipulated.
| |
Boudebouz on 15:49 - Aug 2 with 2006 views | Tummer_from_Texas | If that was such an irrefutable fact, it would seem like the Sigurdsson deal would have been completed a month or two ago.

Boudebouz on 15:55 - Aug 2 with 1974 views | E20Jack | They can be manipulated by putting things through different tax years. But the end result is the same... we are skint.

Boudebouz on 16:07 - Aug 2 with 1917 views | Daggyjack | We need to buy a RB and CF as well as a winger or two + a AM if Gylfi goes. So far, we have bought in Mulder, Mesa, Harries and Tammy on loan so far and have got rid of Gomis, Emnes, Cork, Tabanou, Shepherd, Vickers, Samuel, Jones and Tremmel as well as Amat and Baston on loan. So 4 in, 11 out. Added to this is that Gylfi will leave and we will have £40 million to spend. Just like Everton did with Lukaku's money, they bought 4 or 5 quality players prior to Lukaku leaving. I'm not saying that we should go up to our eyeball's in debt to sustain our place in the Premier League but we do need to be a bit more forward thinking.
