I have always rated Negredo very highly...there was a time when I would have been absolutely chuffed with this signing.
However, he has had a lean 2/3 years now.
On balance I am in favour of him signing as a cheap back up target man for Llorente...if he is to replace Llorente however that is a big risk.
If he signs as a Llorente replacement though I will be willing him to succeed and suspect he might just fit perfectly.
We need pace and creativity in the 3 playing behind him and running beyond him though...high quality signings. | |
