Advertising on LFW 11:19 - Jul 2 with 2960 views | DWQPR | I know that advertising revenue is vital for this site to continue (OK, Clive's input is a tax elegant as well), but surely a line has to be drawn somewhere when a great big banner advert appears directing me to go and purchase the rags that the filth down the road call a football kit! Fûck of Chel*** scum. LFW is ours!

Advertising on LFW on 12:01 - Jul 2 with 2911 views | Northernr | If Chelsea want to give us money to run our website for advertising something you lot are never going to buy then I think we should take it.
Advertising on LFW on 12:11 - Jul 2 with 2896 views | Roller | If we click on the adverts does it cost them more money? Is this our big chance to put the skids under Chelsea?
Advertising on LFW on 12:20 - Jul 2 with 2875 views | OutWestR | Yes, they'll be charged for every click. But the downside is they'll then retarget you, which means you'll continue to see their ads across whatever sites you visit.
Advertising on LFW on 12:23 - Jul 2 with 2870 views | Northernr | Indeed. Click on it about 170 billion times and they might be in trouble. Also we'd then have enough to buy QPR and run it ourselves.
Advertising on LFW on 14:38 - Jul 2 with 2753 views | Dorse | I'm getting ads for Spurs kits at Sports Direct. Surely we can't bankrupt two Prem sides? Or can we...? We're through the looking glass here people.

They are more than likely brought programmatically on a CPM (cost per thousand) basis. It could be based on your browsing habits and retargeting you. Therefore the more you click the more likely you are to see more ads from them as they will see you as a hot prospect to purchase. s1c

Advertising on LFW on 19:52 - Jul 2 with 2530 views | JAPRANGERS | Yes tis true. Most of my ads are in Japanese with prices for things in Yen. If I remember rightly, I saw an ad for shuriken and nunchaku once or twice. Haven't seen lately, so it must have cleaned up its act. Ads for kung fu weapons on a football site. What's the message?
