Regarding the options open to us.

It's going to cause some massive debate on here i reckon

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Be careful he's got books, well I say books but it's actually more like a personal library.

I think Shaky is asking you to pull back if you haven't got experience in certain areas. If you do fine.

Otherwise may undermine the arguments where you do and are making a very good case for.

Don't underestimate Shaky his argument that it is unlikely the Trust will incur substantial legal fees - until litigation goes to court in 2 years time - is a very powerful one.

For Trust members that do want to maintain influence - this would maintain influence for next 2 years until court case.

If Yanks did have a new owner lined up (such as the story about the Indian Businessman) then would be very difficult for them to sell. It might also put potential acquirers off so will reduce the marketability of their shares.

Well he is going the wrong way about it

I previously had no issue with this poster, I have no idea why he has decided to follow me for the last week or so and add absolutely nothing to the forum. I cannot take someone seriously that has the sort of childish exuberance he opts for rather than standing by his convictions and actually adding to the debate, but instead deciding to take an opposite view as some sort of personal attack.

This forum is for all to debate not just those that have been involved on business litigation before, if that was the case then the voting numbers would probably be zero. If he feels I am incorrect on a certain subject then come forward amd state which part and why. He is undermining his own opinion by doing the opposite.

As it stands I truly believe him to be a disturbed individual. I would love him to change my mind on that and contribute to the debate in the manner it has been going for the past 47 pages. If not then clear off is the advice on behalf of probably every single poster here.

Cant say fairer than that.

Anyway, enough of the attention seeker, back to the thread....

Why don't more Trust board members contribute to this thread?
Big thanks to Matt G, Phil and Ux for their posts but where are the others?
Nookie - why don't you stand for electiOn? You would walk it.

Perhaps the others don't post in here? It's not the Trust website after all so they're under no obligation to.

Probably somewhere on this 400 page thread so apologies in advance if so...whats the Trust position in the event Members vote for litigation but before it gets to court Yanks offer an out of court settlement? Does that go back to the Membership for a further consideration?

Oh,..Dave, what's occuring?

Following the vote, when will the Americans purchase the Trust's shares?
Does it take weeks/months/years?

And for the Trust - have they published what their priorities for the 17/18 season now we know how the vote has gone & the election results.

What are the top 3 priorities this season for the Trust and what does success look like?

Good questions. It's about time the Trust employed a full time public relations professional.

Does it matter anymore? It's all begging supplication with no teeth of any sort now isn't it? Doesn't matter what the Trust want, they'll get what they get.

I'm no longer a member anyway, so I have no right to criticise or praise.

Do the Americans have to buy the Trust shares?
If we lose a couple of games and fall into a relegation battle, could the Americans tell the Trust that they would rather use the money to strengthen the squad in January than buy the shares?
