Tory Majority sweepstake on 08:05 - Jun 8 with 1232 views | Gennaro_Contaldo | Whatever the majority is, I'm hoping that Labour then remove Corbyn and get someone GOOD to lead them. What's important is that there is a very solid and credible opposition Government. No one will agree with every policy "their" party wants to make and sometimes they'll make stupid ones that need someone to sanity check it. A strong opposition does that best.

Tory Majority sweepstake on 08:28 - Jun 8 with 1201 views | Boris_ | Exactly that. Any party can pick holes in the opposition. My voting decision this year was made on 3 policies which I believe most important to me at the time. 1) A clean Brexit, which I strongly believe will benefit the UK in the mid to long term. 2) National Security - the thought of Corbyn leading our national security is a horrendous thought. 3) 6% lower corporation tax with Conservative. Everything else is below those priorities for me, despite me disagreeing with them, so that's why I have voted conservative.

Tory Majority sweepstake on 09:58 - Jun 8 with 1156 views | Bison | The spread betting spread is 77 - 89 so I am going to be highest so far at ..... 83 Surprised at that I thought from all the yap yap that labour were making it a close run thing.

Tory Majority sweepstake on 13:40 - Jun 8 with 1118 views | saint68 | Conservative with a reduced majority. So basically a complete FUK up and a massive waste of time effort and most importantly MONEY!!!. TRULY SHAMBOLIC DECISION.

Tory Majority sweepstake on 14:53 - Jun 8 with 1072 views | dune | Don't be silly. There's only the small but mouthy far left activist types that are enthused by Corbyn. The silent majority will surprise you.

Tory Majority sweepstake on 16:02 - Jun 8 with 1038 views | Boris_ | It isn't a waste of time though, is it? Remoaners won't be able to cry about Theresa May being un-elected. Remoaners won't be able to cry about 'nobody voted for a hard Brexit' Etc Finally the whinging leftie remoaners will have to shut the f*ck up and accept that we are leaving the EU.

Tory Majority sweepstake on 16:21 - Jun 8 with 1025 views | saint68 | Wholly depending on a greater majority than before the election, that is not a given I'd suggest. I remain hopeful of being completely wrong but I don't have great confidence in this predicted landslide.

Tory Majority sweepstake on 16:37 - Jun 8 with 1012 views | SalisburySaint | i think you'll find it's the Liberals and SNP not accepting we are leavng the EU not Labour, but why let facts get in the way of a good rant
Tory Majority sweepstake on 16:48 - Jun 8 with 1005 views | dune | They won't shut up but I've always said the more they're squealing the better the job the Tories are doing. It's still pissing it down here in Montrose, lovely for a Tory target area.😄 [Post edited 8 Jun 2017 16:49]

Tory Majority sweepstake on 16:48 - Jun 8 with 1004 views | Boris_ | Labour want to remain in the single market and customs union. That is not 'leaving the EU' and not what I or the rest of the 52% voted for last year. [Post edited 8 Jun 2017 16:49]

Tory Majority sweepstake on 18:31 - Jun 8 with 961 views | SaintGeorge | 125 ... (edit) even if the majority is reduced there's something else about this election which isn't getting talked about very much, and that's the timing of the *next* election. If we hadn't had this one, it would have fallen in the first months after leaving the EU, when even I, a convinced leaver, think there's likely to be disruption and a difficult transition. Now the next election falls in 2022 and we'll have had three years to see which way things are headed and adjust accordingly. This holds whatever the majority or lack of one, and it can only be a good thing. [Post edited 8 Jun 2017 18:46]
