Like Sitges very much, Gay Capital of Spain. Great campsite short walk from the beach
Don't read anything into that - wife was with me and also liked it there

Spent a pleasant afternoon this March in the naturist part of Maspalomas speaking to some very nice gay and lesbian couples .

Personally, for families ,I d recommend north Costa Blanca ...denia,Calpe,Moraia,Xabia(Javea)

Personally ,I d avoid Salou ,like the plague.

Was not a fan of Salou.

I went to La Pineda a couple of miles down the coast and much preferred it there. PortaVentura is always worth a day trip but would go to Aquapolis water park in La Pineda and also go to La Pineda over Salou if you fancy a day on the beach.

I remember in Salou about 25 years ago, I was there holidaying with my parents and there were bombs being planted around the tourist areas. One went off outside our hotel. The Basque separatist group ETA claimed responsibility.... but the water park is good

The railway line is Salou?

La Pineda is really child friendly.

Herefordjack decided to try somewhere new this year, so am driving via Belgium, Holland and Germany to the Baltic coast resort of Kolobrzeg in Poland in July.

I am assured by a girl who works with me who comes from that area that it'll be as hot as hell in the summer. It's a very tourist friendly area with little seaside resorts, lovely beaches, good fish and chips, and Polish beer. What's not to like?

In Hurghada (Egypt) now, watched the WBA game in a bar with a cold beer.
Lovely hotel and hot as f*ck, home on Monday.
