It's really poor, Manning, Luongo and Freeman in centre mid and the majority of our 'football' is hoofing it up to Smith often without support around him.
With those three in the midfield we ought to be at least trying to play a little more, work a bit of space for Pavel etc.
We all like Smith but he sometimes serves as a bit of a ready made excuse for players not taking responsibility for trying to play a little, pass and move, be prepared to give and receive the ball in tighter spaces...etc | | | |
