Welcome to the Pleasuredome is a great album. One of my favourites from back in the day. Still listen to it semi regularly. The follow up ("Liverpool") wasn't bad either.
I've been to Liverpool twice both times to watch the Swans once to Anfield and once to Goodison, I would say Liverpool is the worst place I have ever been, dirty, smelly, crime ridden, horrible place.
Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.
Liverpool is actually a very nice place, lots to do there. Everton fans one of the best I have encountered, as are their stewards. Liverpool fans have a chip on their shoulder or whatever, so not so nice.

All hard men up there are they ? Always looking for a fight if your post is to be believed. Threats etc .... Sort of disrupts anything you have said in the past about Liverpool. . Threats like that lead to years of unhappiness and justification. Oh hang on .... It already has. Point proven. Cheers.
