I noticed when viewing rival teams message boards after the Swans beat Leicester, that there was a thread about the disgraceful union jack in the Swansea end, they were claiming it was upside down and whoever displayed it was 'pig ignorant'.
I would say whoever displays it is 'pig ignorant' whether it was the right way up or not as Swansea is a Welsh team.

The chap who owns that flag hasn't the least interest in politics of any stripe. Interestingly enough though he served in the same branch of the service and swore the exact same Oath of Allegiance as the gentleman in your avatar.

I'm with you. Not sure they'd admit it but I reckon it's to wind the scum. I'm all for irking them but not at the price of mugging ourselves off. We are unique, we are Wales's only prem club. Let's embrace that fact and shout it from the rooftops. Actually I bet that would wind the scum up even more
I bet fans of English football teams are very confused about Swansea football fans, are they Welsh ?, are they English ?, are they British ?, Swansea used to be a Welsh football team when I started following them as a young child, now through the decades with immigration, UK state education and the media as it is, a murky picture has developed.

I remember Atletico Bilbao and Real Sociedad and their Basque policies, Glasgow Rangers and their protestant policy, then at fan level you had Beitar Jerusalem, Livorno, Zenit St Petersburg all attracting certain types. The World is getting to be a smaller place but to take a union flag into the Swansea end is not cricket, its wrong on so many levels, no respect and no class.
