Holiday year at work on 12:59 - Jan 14 with 1330 views | Murph75 | I've just left one company that followed the American tax year which was much easier. I'm back to April to March which is confusing me. I'll get used to it though. What's the reason for them wanting you to change?

| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Holiday year at work on 14:30 - Jan 15 with 859 views | Mrgrumpy | Those whose who have a holiday year that runs from April to March and have 28 days holidays and are calculated as 20 days plus bank holidays need to be aware that the were only 6 bank holidays in this years holiay period (2016 -2017). My firm has tried to calculate my holidays this way and are saying that evens out over the years. However you have a statutory entitlement to 28 days leave per holiday period regardless of how many days holiday they gave you the previous year.. In my case I wasnt working for them the previous year
