Those whose who have a holiday year that runs from April to March and have 28 days holidays and are calculated as 20 days plus bank holidays need to be aware that the were only 6 bank holidays in this years holiay period (2016 -2017). My firm has tried to calculate my holidays this way and are saying that evens out over the years. However you have a statutory entitlement to 28 days leave per holiday period regardless of how many days holiday they gave you the previous year..
