No it doesn't. If Fonte goes to Palace it's because of one thing. Money. Fonte could have had next season at Saints and got a testimonial and left the club a legend. If he goes to Palace he will be seen as a greedy sod who left a club who gave him everything to fight a relegation battle purely because of money. If he goes to Everton or Man U then in a sense good luck to him. But Palace. The greedy ungrateful sod can do one. And if he goes there I hope to see him relegated. Exactly. Even if we sell Fonté for the £7m I've seen quoted - that means Sakho would cost £13m in real terms.. exactly the same as Virgil and not a bad price in this day and age... assuming Sakho is even interested in a move south of course. | |
