I'm guessing the police could only impact on when it can't be played and not when it should. Friendly as it may be, it's a date booked out due to the terms of the rental agreement.

I'm just going off recent experience. The BBC Friday night game has been the only FA cup tie that night - obviously to maximize the interest. Last season in the 4th round it was Derby v Man Utd (the only tie played). Last round it was West Ham v Man City (the only tie played). | |
