Not a station I listen to & so I didn't hear it. I also have no idea if this is an exageration or has any foundation. However, I've read that our Harold was speculating that Queens Park Rangers may be about to be put on the market.

Can anyone enlighten us as to what was said or what this is being based on?

Take away the corporate branding (which I agree is abhorrent). Everything about Red Bull that the Germans and Austrians are resisting is new to their culture - whereas English football sold its soul 25 years ago and many times over since.

Their scouting and youth systems are impeccable for what it's worth. We should know better than most that money alone doesn't explain their success.

I'm not really sure how buying the school end would have made that much difference, maybe you could tell me.

The only way the ground could have been redeveloped would have been to buy up ER and that was never likely.

Hmm may have worked for a few years but not going to change the rest of the ground.

If I remember rightly it was more to do with the Prem, cameras and offices, hospitality and parking.

I think JG got the ground right with the rebuild holding 27000 at the time, what cocked it up was the all seating.
