Norwich interested in Scott Hogan 09:15 - Nov 27 with 25197 views | mingthemerciless | According to a pal of mine Norwich are looking to splash the cash on Hogan. It's in today's papers, if that means anything.
Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 03:24 - Dec 22 with 3753 views | DiddyDave | Really? For a player who has no EPL experience? I think you can take that first figure off there,no way would Steve Bruce pay that,or even be allowed to pay it. Good luck to Hogan though, another broken toy KH glued together.
Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 05:01 - Dec 22 with 3726 views | richfoad32 | Villa signed Jonathan Kodjia and Ross McCormack in August, for fees reportedly in the region of £12m apiece . Both are older than Hogan and neither have Premiership experience.... Admittedly they weren't signed by Bruce and it does beg the question why Villa would really want another striker but it shows the money is there and the manager is allowed to splash out. Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 06:12 - Dec 22 with 3676 views | dingdangblue | Not having EPL experience means nothing. This time last year Middlesbrough bought Jordan Rhodes for £9million rising to £11 million when they were promoted. There's even more money in the kitty now with this seasons' new TV deal! If Hogan is wanted - he could easily be bought for the figures quoted.

Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 08:51 - Dec 22 with 3532 views | electricblue | Im sure McCormack is out injured for a length of time hence Villas interest in Hogan.. Plus Hogan is a different style of player to McCormack. More agile and tricky.....

Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 09:45 - Dec 22 with 3407 views | Shun | I can see that being a plausible figure. Gray went for, how much, £9million? Hogan has a much better goalscoring record. I was glancing through the Villa message board last night and not a one seemed perturbed by the £12million figure. One quote went along the lines of 'clubs will charge us what they want because they know we'll pay it.'
Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 12:09 - Dec 22 with 3209 views | macro | Villa - Championship Hogan says he wants to play in the Premier League WBA linked, that’d be more likely a destination
Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 12:12 - Dec 22 with 3199 views | 100notout | Problem with WBA is that they're not normally big spenders - can't see they would offer any more than £5m plus add-ons. edit - Everton would be a good move for him - could see that happening [Post edited 22 Dec 2016 12:13]

Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 12:44 - Dec 22 with 3097 views | 100notout | ok so they have money in the pot and are willing to spend on a "name" / established premier league player who's lost his way a bit at manure. Still don't see them forking out a lot for Scotty. Course of course be wrong (and would love to be!)

Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 03:00 - Dec 23 with 2381 views | Brentford_Fan | Hiya. Bees fan here. Scott has been absolutely superb for us after two incredibly frustrating injury jinxed years. The club knew that they had a gem on their hands even during his lay off. All the while I kept on hearing from a member of staff who regularly saw him on the training ground during his recovery that he was going to be a sensation once he was fit - and he's certainly been that. Sadly we've pretty much accepted that he is on his way in January. It's just a question of who to and how much. The club will sell not because we have to but because it's our business model - buy low, sell high. Scott is significantly better than Andre Gray who we have so far received £8.75m for from Burnley, including add ons (with another £1m to come if they stay up this year). We are no pushovers when it comes to transfer negotiations and it seems that there will be a bidding war so the expectations are £12-15m plus add ons. West Ham are the latest to be rumoured to be interested. I would imagine we would want to do a deal as early in the window as possible because we then have to turn our attention to securing replacement(s). It's really lovely to read on here that your windfall could be used to help secure Dale's future. I've enjoyed my visits to Spotland and admire the club's set up. Good luck for the rest of the season. [Post edited 23 Dec 2016 3:01]

Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 05:15 - Dec 23 with 2359 views | Albert_Whitehurst | I miss the Magpie & Crown and Express Tavern (formerly as a traveling Dale fan and then latterly as a Brentford resident). Always keen to see how Brentford go on. A well run club.
Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 10:27 - Dec 23 with 2195 views | MarpleAlty | There are a lot of parallels between our clubs (albeit at different points in the pyramid), i.e. proud to live within our means etc - but it's clear with all the money knocking around that we're out of our depth in the National League these days without some serious investment (it was heartbreaking enough to see the likes of Fleetwood sail past us, never mind Fylde, Salford etc.) Similar to your Eyre/Coleman season, we've been victim of some catastrophically naïve decision-making (we've used nearly 50 players this season) and nobody really recognises the club at the moment. Hopefully we'll bounce back stronger, but the sixth tier (and no higher) is our natural level now.
Norwich interested in Scott Hogan on 10:48 - Dec 23 with 2146 views | R17ALE | Even more off topic. Had the vote gone differently back in 1980 (?), do you think Alty would now be 3rd tier and we'd be 6th? I do appreciate the question is almost impossible to answer!
