I've tried it, but wasn't overly impressed. It was a bit salty and not 'peaty' enough for me.

I tried some last week whilst in the Brecon Beacons, and was expecting it to taste of leeks or summat so my surprise that it didn't gives it a pass mark

Still supping my way through a Talisker Skye, but have a Dark Storm waiting in the wings for when the Sky is finished. Confirmed smokehead myself. Bunnahabhain 12 yr old a v tasty drop, but my fave so far trialled is Lagavulin 16 yr old. Pure perfection in my eyes. Notable mentions to Caol Ila, Laphroaig and Ardbeg among others too.
Not tried Penderyn though. What would it be similar to - anything off the top of your head? | |

Hi, hope it's ok to post this.
Have 2 tickets for sale on eBay for Rochdale v Bury at half price. Had hoped to cheer on Rochdale as part of a tour of the 92 clubs but cannot make it now due to illness.
If any Dale supporters are interested please take a look and can post them tomorrow. Hope to make a visit before the end of the season!

I think we should have all learned by now.
Lets face it . . . if all 2000 of the diehard home fans refused to buy tickets in advance we know they would have to allow pay on the gate - there is not a hidden 8000 non dale fans just waiting to go to the Dale v t'other side of eywood game who would buy up all the tickets (in advance). So nobody would miss out.
