While I agree with that to an extent, the recruitment in terms of ensuring we had enough quality in the squad, especially at the back, has led to such a situation impacting it more than it should.
The signings of Davies and Logan added little in areas that weren't a concern. Hooper is turning out for FCUM today while Joe Thompson is starting games. We accept injuries will play a part, it's that we are affected far more by the choices made around the initial squad building. | |
