Perhaps they should move the parliament around various cities whilst the buildings being renovated. Would do a lot of politicians good to see the real world.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

We should have a referendum.

I think they should renovate it, then re-open it as a giant Harry Potter theme park, earn some foreign tourist money for the country.

Meanwhile, the MPs can re-locate to some unused warehouse in Bolton or somewhere.

Yeah. It's a nice idea but we're better off keeping the costs as low as possible.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Recycle anything they can reuse, sell off anything else to raise cash, sell off the land to the highest bidder - prob to build luxury flats called 'parliament heights', use the proposed £4 billion currently being thrown around for repairs and consider any future costs for this crumbling building and build something forward thinking, ego friendly that will be fit for purpose in the future. Oh yes and stop subsidising their food and rather expensive wines in their in-house parliament eateries and drinking holes.

"ego friendly " Build something "ego-friendly" for politicians?

Christ! I hope that was deliberate!

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

No, we'd only get it wrong.

Eco friendly but I guess the other is strangely appropriate. 😉
