Incoming transfer news on 16:21 - Aug 17 with 3751 views | Yorkshire_Dale | Is this the ONE Hilly was after for ageS? Good stuff.
Incoming transfer news on 16:23 - Aug 17 with 3713 views | AtThePeake | He was playing in League One with Bradford last season so that would suggest not.

Incoming transfer news on 16:33 - Aug 17 with 3569 views | TomRAFC | Not unhappy with this. Has played at a higher level and hopefully Hilly can get the best out of him. Couple of decent seasons at Derby and Bristol City in the championship albeit 3-4 years ago. We've certainly got players who can create chances for him. Now for us to resign Peter Cavanagh and Joe Widdowson! [Post edited 17 Aug 2016 16:36]

Incoming transfer news on 16:43 - Aug 17 with 3469 views | Shun | Sorry to be a pedant, but I love me a bit of grammar Naziism. That phrase in no way means the transfer news will be an incoming signing. Anyway, I've never heard of this fellow but, as ever, I trust Hill's judgement (Odelusi excepted).
Incoming transfer news on 16:51 - Aug 17 with 3407 views | boffley | He used to be a really good snooker player.
Incoming transfer news on 16:53 - Aug 17 with 3387 views | heywooddale | Anyone know what kind of Striker he is?
Incoming transfer news on 17:06 - Aug 17 with 3299 views | isitme | A quick search online says that he is over six feet tall so hopefully he will have some physical presence.
Incoming transfer news on 17:10 - Aug 17 with 3266 views | AtThePeake | He played up front for Bradford under Parkinson, I could've told you he was over six feet tall from that alone

Incoming transfer news on 17:16 - Aug 17 with 3221 views | 1907 | From the other video of his goals he looks like a proper striker in possibly the Murray type mould? If he's supplied with good balls he looks like he could bag us a goal or two. Could he form a partnership by feeding off Calvin's flick ons or holding play or will Calvin now make way? As much as everyone loves Calv for his effort and commitment he's never going to score the right amount of goals we need. Seems like a good signing on paper let's hope he comes good!
Incoming transfer news on 17:20 - Aug 17 with 3201 views | leedsdale | I work with a couple of Bradford fans: they say he is an out-and-out striker and decent in the air. They weren't overly upset to see him leave as he was a bit-part player last season; he missed 3 months through injury, and when he came back he was largely used off the subs bench.
Incoming transfer news on 17:45 - Aug 17 with 2923 views | D_Alien | He gives us the options to do both - play alongside Calvin or as a lone striker. I'd see this signing as the end of Joe Bunney. In starting him against Peterborough, Hilly was asking him a question - have you progressed? The answer was emphatic - no. We need to offload Joe and Odelusi, and use their wages to sign a left-sided defender and/or holding midfielder. We might then just be somewhere near a competitive L1 squad.

Incoming transfer news on 17:48 - Aug 17 with 2904 views | 1907 | The LB position is now the most important to address but can you actually see Hill dropping McNulty? I can't. Cover at RB is next on the agenda. I don't want to see Cannon wasted at RB he has far more ability in other areas of the pitch.
Incoming transfer news on 17:54 - Aug 17 with 2877 views | D_Alien | No, I can't, but if we signed someone who can help protect the back four, it'd make a difference to how exposed McNulty has been. He could come good again - he had a pretty consistent season at fullback last year and I don't recall any posts suggesting he should be replaced. On the other wing, Rafferty started with Cannon in front of him. McNulty has Hendo. If we signed another RB he could end up sitting on the bench for the next nine months.

Incoming transfer news on 18:15 - Aug 17 with 2774 views | richfoad32 | Decent signing this, I think. Don't know an awful lot about him but he's moved several times for reasonably big money in the past so somebody must've rated him. That's not always a true indication of talent I know but I spoke to a Bristol City supporting mate of mine who reckons he did a good job for them when he was there, can hold the ball up, decent in the air and linked up well with Sam Baldock. Albeit this was 4-5 seasons ago but he didn't look out of place at a higher level and is still only 28, got to be more effective than Bunney.
Incoming transfer news on 18:38 - Aug 17 with 2664 views | ArthurDaley | Interesting.

Incoming transfer news on 18:38 - Aug 17 with 2661 views | D_Dale | Last season, Davies scored 5 goals in 30 appearances (incl. 1 vs Dale on 20 Feb). Last season, Bunney scored 9 goals in 34 appearances (incl. 2 vs Bradford on 20 Feb). Why has he 'got to be more effective than Bunney'?
Incoming transfer news on 18:57 - Aug 17 with 2591 views | D_Alien | Because when he's not scoring, Bunney has nothing to contribute. If you can't control the ball, have it taken away from you very easily by defenders, consistently fail to find a team-mate with a pass, you're a liability. Davies has played at a higher level. Can you imagine a championship side even thinking about signing Bunney? Those stats you quote include long periods in the championship, and even if they didn't, the time for thinking Bunney is going anywhere has gone. I think Hilly realises that too.

Incoming transfer news on 19:02 - Aug 17 with 2563 views | 1907 | I said it after the Peterborough game and I'll say it again, Bunney's performance was so bad I actually felt sorry for him. He was so out of his depth it was difficult to watch. I don't understand how he can't seem to become any stronger with all the training the players are put through. He should be filling out by now.
