I've liked Birmingham since I studied there. Villa can go and die in a massive fire but Birmingham fans have always been ok in my experience. A bit of a crap club to support like us and we seem to beat them at home more often than not. Last time we did was against a team on about 5% of our budget who battered us all game only to lose 1-0 to Austin's first goal for us, I think.

Fwiw - my recollections of that game. I thought it w as s 5 - 1 and Mike kelly was in goal for brum. He had flu and was punished especially by Rodney, one of which was a 20 yd screamer. Andy mcCullough went to my college in Walthamstow and studied Land Surveying around that time. He was a bit lightweight but scored a few including one away at Charlton one evening.

Yep Halfway line in the paddock was the dogs,you got all sorts of banter. Brian Moore was a gent.Bloody camera gantry got in the way for that game as I recall.Nasty place when there were 35,000 of us for the Leeds game,in like sardines and very tricky exiting at the final whistle.
