Trust trek to Oldham on 13:42 - Mar 15 with 3767 views | Rosun | http://www.daletrust.co.uk/2016/02/trust-trek-to-oldham/ #DaleTrek2Oldham Final preparations have been made to base camp (The Flying Horse) and the staging points en-route. Timetable is as follows: Sat. 19th March 10.30 am Meet outside main entrance at Spotland 11.00 am Base camp @ The Flying Horse 12.30 pm Oxygen & Kendal mint cake @ Summit / Thornham 1.15 pm The Railway - Royton 2.00 pm Plaudits & accolades at Boundary Park 4.45 pm Go home with 3 points and a warm feeling of having done something good for those less fortunate than ourselves. It appears that #TeamEllis will be joining us and we may have a guard of honour from the Oldham Trust at some point along the expedition. Questions have been asked about the fundraising and the beneficiaries so here goes... Whatever has been pledged on the sponsorship forms from The Trust will go to Moorlands Children's Home. A bucket collection (we have borrowed the bURY ones) will be done and this will be for Ellis Robinson. Both of these are worthy causes so please feel free to dig deep and join in if you can. Enjoy the day and thanks to all that have contributed.
Trust trek to Oldham on 16:52 - Mar 15 with 3709 views | TalkingSutty | Thanks for the information regarding the fundraising beneficiaries, having sponsored to support the MCH i don't have a problem doing a separate donation for Ellis Robinson on the day. Maybe we could do a raffle etc at the end of season awards night to boost his fund, it's always well attended.

Trust trek to Oldham on 21:14 - Mar 19 with 2553 views | ColDale | One walker today deserves tons of credit. Won't embarrass him by naming him as he's the sort to hate the fuss but anyone who knows him knows what he has been through and 99% of people would have dropped out but he walked and raised a huge sum for a local children's home.
