I thought we were the better side today. We had two clear chances in the first half. I'm not sure about the Penalty claim, it all seemed a little too convenient. My reaction to their Goal was offside. There was a lot going on though, so maybe their lad was behind two of our outfield players or/and behind the ball from the third blocked shot. Ultimately it again came down to a stupid mistake in defence. Cannon should have cleared the ball. It's a shame because otherwise we were solid. For all the mocking the MotM decision will get, I thought Bunney had a good game. Today was a huge improvement on the Crewe nonsense. | | | |

Although stop and start at times I enjoyed the game which was end to end. Ignoring the odd lunatic I thought the Milwall fans were very good and they brought many more than I expected. There wasn't much between the teams but they looked more dangerous in attack and always seemed more likely to score than we did
I thought the defence with Eastham, Lancashire and McNulty was pretty solid and no doubt picked because of the size of the Milwall forward line - definitely worth trying again
Our problem is in midfield. We managed to get behind their defence a few times in the first 15 minutes but only tested their goalie once. After that we huffed and puffed
I think Calvin going off was a big blow and there was nobody capable of holding up the ball after that and he had already won numerous balls in the air. Hopefully it isn't a bad injury

Millwa*k are scum always have been. Their jeering and baying at Bunney when he was scythed down was a disgrace. I am not sure they actually know the rules , claiming pens all the time. their players are also similar. The fans I met on the bus to and from the match seemed a decent bunch. Just genuine football fans wanting to see their team play. They were also sympathetic when we lost. I think Millwall are just like any other club in that they have a small percentage of idiots who give the club a bad name but I didn't notice any major difference between them and any other club. | | | |

That wasn't anything to do with our idiot goading them either. Those on the front couple of rows were just out for a bit a trouble, plain and simple. Quite an enjoyable game I thought, which we didn't deserve to lose. We played reasonably well, and Milwall looked impressive. Henderson played well, and some of Allen's touches were fantastic. The McNulty trial at LB didn't really work. He defended well enough but his distribution was poor, and I agree with 442 in that at a point in the second half he wasn't even seen as an option to pass to anymore, to the detriment of some of our plays.
Milwall brought an impressive number of fans. I missed any aggro though. | | | |

These seemed a bit more 'passionate' than the usual visitors - and a lot more passionate than we are! They certainly seemed to have some anger management problems amongst them, seemed to get het up about very little. Couldn't believe the abuse and anger directed at Joe Bunny. Anyway I suppose their reputation precedes them so it wasn't a huge surprise. I noticed that they wouldn't sit down. It all added to the entertainment. And in spite of all that I'm sure there were plenty of nice folk amongst them. | | | |
