I bet many of here haven't heard of him, yet he was only with us relatively recently.

I bet many on here won't recognise him either...

He was f*cking amazing every time he played against us. Like Curtis, a one club man.

I bet many on here won't remember him playing much too.

Felt for him, he hardly featured due to injury, then had the Car crash which ended his career. Good to see him still in football, hope he has more luck as a manager

Still following Dr's orders!

He seemed to play against us more than he did for us. He was their Leon Britton and they were a very good side with a lot of good players for a while. Decent sort, shame it didn't work out for him what with all the injuries and car crash.

Never did it for us, always against us.

I remember Gavin Ward always giving it the head slap too.

Then one night in Cwmbran at an u21 game .........

Wouldn't that have been Gavin Williams?

Gavin Williams I was thinking of too, and the boy child Johnson. Always played well against us.

That's not Darren Way though.... it's Tom Butler.

Do I detect a merry jape here? Far too subtle for me if so.

When we played a friendly at Weston-super-Mare (2006 maybe?), he wasn't playing, probably injured, and I had quite a long chat with him about his injuries and other topics and found him to be a really nice bloke. Really felt for him when his career was ended in that crash. Good to see him still in football and wish him well.

Tommy Butler? Isn't that the guy who once had a good game against Sheffield United?
