If his belief in karma is still holding strong he should walk up to Sandro before kick-off, nut him, take the red card at 0 mins and applaud all four corners of the ground to a hero's reception.
I'm more bothered about any Burnley free kicks. You just know that after pissing every attacking free kick we got for four years (bar one at Reading) straight into the wall that the first one he gets against us is going straight in the net.
Couldn't care less either way,I never liked the bloke but he always gave his all which is more that can be said for plenty of other of TFs big time signings. Let's hope the emotion gets to him and he has a mare.
He could well come in and try and prove a point. I kinda hope he doesn't get booed, just cos he did always put in a shift.
Equally he did a lot of crazy things which screwed us a number of times. Think Dyche must have him on a very tight leash though, as I haven't heard much at all about him this season.
Really important that he gets ignored and not booed. Barton thrive's off negativity towards him and genuinely think it would help our cause to give him nothing.
It won't happen but I think we should all completely ignore him, no claps no boos nothing no matter what happens and how hard it might be. Unless we're 3+ nil up with less than 5mins to go - then do whatever
I love the idea of him coming over to take a corner at the loft end and people screaming at him shit about his inability to beat the first bloody man, and then also Plato quotes questioning his pseudo nihilism that underlies his erroneous, inflated sense of self importance. And also call him a cvnt whilst we're there.
We could always lob him a bottle of Coke. Reversing what happened at Burnley when he played for us.
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one's lifetime." (Mark Twain)
