From a solid home crowd of 3,000+ home supporters what has exactly gone wrong a home crowd is suppose to improve on success not drop or even half by that figure something has seriously gone wrong. Even more the lack of promotional gimmicks throughout last few seasons. People blame Manchester City gaining success at the same time but this can't be the reason. The home crowd at this moment should of increased to 4,000+ even with Manchester City around maybe Spotland is getting too expensive for normal people

It took a bit of a search, but it's been posted on here before that our average during the Centenary season was 3065. Take off the away fans and the average home support is very similar to now. Edit: as AtThePeake says. Our home average in 07/08 will have been about 2700 max. I'll have a proper look over the weekend if necessary but the difference won't be much in actual home fans from last season to the Wembley one.

Should we have grown the home support? Yes.
Was enough done to do it? No.
Have things improved recently with the introduction of new staff? Yes.

The Centenary season was a missed opportunity, but let's not pretend hundreds of fans have been priced out since then. Our prices are reasonable, although breaking the £20 barrier should have been avoided.

The main issue from 07/08 was that more that we didn't do enough to identify and target all those who turned up at Wembley. Very little to do with those of us who continue to turn up regularly each week. Imagine the current marketing campaigns mentioned elsewhere taking place during the summer of 2008 - that's where we really could have made in-roads and grown the core support.

And two months ago it was £333, minus the £25 voucher from last season's.

Have you been to ask about Goldbond yet? You'll get a season ticket for around £30, according to Chaff.
