Replacement for Emnes? If Emnes were leaving which I don;t think he is.

He surly wouldn't get in our first choice 15 would he?
Money could be a draw but he'd not get many minutes ion the pitch.

If we are looking for a winger who can chip in with a few goals then Hal is not that man.

Squad player.

Home Grown.

Apart from those two reasons then i cant see why we would be interested.

I'd say that even if we were looking for a winger whose last name was 'Robson-Kanu' then it is entirely possible Hal wouldn't be that man...

Although to be fair to him - he puts in a shift for Wales which is more than some more illustrious wingers ever bothered to do.

Hes grown on me. Runs his balls off, knows his limitations, let's his more talented colleagues do the fancy stuff, haggle them down to 3

He does a decent job for Wales and they don't have many options, so it's better if he plays somewhere where he'll get some game time.

Since when are we looking to add a winger? Not a chance.

No - I avoid doing anything on the Mirror that will give them potential click count and money !!

It's obviously nonsense - surely ...

If we are after a winger then it obviously seems we want a cheaper option, much better options out there than Robson-Kanu.

He won't get in our first 25! Ayew, Jeff, Routs and Dyer all ahead of him, and possibly Emnes too. And with Gorre just offered a deal, he'll hopefully be featuring after his loan spell. This makes no sense at all. We don't need any more wingers.

I'm pretty sure even kim bo kyung is better (and younger) than robson Kanu. Also not with a team atm so would be free transfer.

But I don't understand this signing unless we will be losing 1 or 2 midfielders already.

Can only see it as a potential add to the homegrown talent.

We currently have 10 home grown players. Talk of Leon,Dyer and Bartley possibly going to pastures new would mean we would be looking to get a home grown player or two in.

If we're looking for a HG we might as well be after Borini. But I also can't see this being move attractive situation than what he's dealing with in liverpool.

However, a can't see this one happening and it's more of a rehash of someone that we were linked with in the past.

What a kerfuffle.

You lot are going to be in big trouble when JBT95 (or similar) gets here.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Would be way more expensive to sign borini than robson Kanu. Borini=£7mill kanu=£4mill(but we apparently want lower). Borini' wages will most likely be 3x more than robson Kanu. So if we are looking at it just to add a squad play with HG status then Kanu makes more sense.

The only way I can see this happening though is if emnes leaves and we just replace him with robson Kanu who players similar positions and is similar quality but has HG status so he offers a little bit more.

Personally I've always liked him. He needs better players around him than Readings got, to bring out the best in him, and we have such players. £4 million is a little too much for him though IMO. Not proven at Premier level.

People writing him off in favour of our other wingers and yet apart from Montero our wingers are not very good really. Dyer and Routledge are pretty poor to be honest, they chip in with hardly any goals and no assists. At least Kanu is direct and has some strength about him. With better players around him he could be good.

I would be happy to see him come here. Strong and direct and has never let Wales down.

Not good enough for week in and week out premier league football, which is why is is not playing in that league. Does ok for wales.
