Nice. He makes Les look small!

I'm sure Les is only about 5'9, but just had a terrific leap on him

Les is not tall but that German is 6ft3 1/2 according to wiki (not always right)

Encouraging news!

Out of interest, does anyone know how the German second division compares to the Championship for quality, etc.?

Anyone else enjoying how our transfers are appearing without too much fuss being made in the media?

All so far look great... but those are famous last words

If he can keep up 14 in 29 he will be very welcome. CR says he reminds him of a BZ of a few years ago. Would be wonderful if Chaz stays

I've met Les. I'm 5ft 10in and he was taller than me.

Went to Berlin in March and went to Union Berlin v Kaiserslautern as Hertha were away that w/e.

Polter probably played but he didn't stand out as it ended 0-0

Quick stock take:

CONFIRMED
In - Luongo, Gladwin, JET, Mackie, Polter
Out - all the dross

WAIT AND SEE
In? - Morrison?
Out? - Austin, Fer, Phillips, Sandro?

So, if we lose Austin and Fer, I make it that we still need a forward, a midfielder or two, possibly three depending on Sandro, and three defenders? (LB, CBx2)

I like the look of this guy. Based on very little evidence, of course, but just feels like a QPR signing.

Les is actually only 5'11, incredibly!

Bare bones.

Personally, I don't think we should be signing an LB. We have Yun, and Traore as a final resort, and then hopefully from Jan we'll have our Liverpool lad back again.
CB? If Ned and Caulker stay, we also have Hill and Ehmer. That'll do.
Maybe a left footed wide midfielder?

Bare bones.

LB ? We have 3 + Youngsters !
Yun, Hill & Traore

You mean RB surely ?

Yes, like Helguson, Les had a huge leap. Paul Parker was 5 foot 5 on a good day. Yet he could jump 2 feet plus straight up.

Never knowingly right.

he needs to lose the baseball cap

but other than that it looks like another good signing.
1

Welcome Sebastian Polter on 15:31 - Jul 2 with 5262 viewspaulparker

Traore!!
He ain't fit to cut the half time oranges , as Robinson is out for the year that leaves Yun who can be shaky as our only LB , we can use the loan market a lot more this year
We do need a RB like Chris Gunter with Harriman as back up , Ned played there is a disaster waiting to happen
If Caulker goes we need a steady CB with championship experience , Hanley or Michael turner would fit the bill

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

im hoping yun comes back from his summer holidays a bit beefier.. he makes sissy walter from the beano looks like a panzer tank.

at left back , Clintus Aurelius is about as useful as the 6ft swatch watch in my shed.

3rd or 4th choice center back , one has to venture.

i cant even make a case for traore being a professional footballer at any level.should open a cous cous bar in brick lane for cnts. unworthy of the shirt and less courage than the comb over geezer in blakes 7.

id like to see a right back , possibly a place in the squad can be found with one of the 78 midfielder/wide players being moved on to do a hester and anton, i.e 'fresh fields'

harriman or furlong to push a more experianced right full back for a place.
