I was at Bury in 2001 when Freestone was suspended so Jason Jones played only to give a pen away and be sent off and a kid Alex Davies youth team player came on for him,Davies saved the penalty with his first touch only for the ref to make them take it again. | |

There was a youth team keeper under Rog that played a few games and I can't for the life of me remember his name - would have been around 90-91.
Remember Jimmy Rimmer telling us the lad was a definite future England International... think he went to the Conference in the end.
