Yes, my cousins lad and my godson. Doing exceptional for his 1st year at Wolves. Just 17 and signed pro for 3 years so far. Already trained few times with the 1st team where they were teasing him calling him 'ginger Messi' - no pressure there then! Played with U21's also. I've only watched him 'live' a couple of times but looks a natural, so comfortable on the ball, awareness of players around him, great crosser and set piece specialist. Comes 1st in all the fitness tests too - got a great engine. Fingers crossed big things lie ahead with the right family support - which I know he has. | |

Yes that was THE chance. Beautiful ball in from Connor with his 'wrong' foot too. Deserved finishing 1st time - dont think there was need to take a touch. 2 games and no goals tells you all really - the Irish are short of a good Number 9 . Very interesting game at 5 today - I'm sure England will be taking lots of notice of Irelands Number 10. | |

To be fair, if Wolves did want to get him some experience Im sure we'd be his 1st choice - but at the rate he is progressing and the impression he is making - Wolves might be fast tracking him for themselves! He's certainly getting himself noticed. | |

I'm pretty sure there are set rules in place now regarding Academy transfers and if they go on to be successful. I know Liverpool had to pay QPR 20% of the Raheem Sterling transfer because they bought him at 16years old - I dont know if that is a set rule or just a private agreement between the clubs. I know there are set amounts payable regarding appearances so you could get money every 10 1st team appearances upto 100. At the moment it couldn't have gone better for Connor - he is exceeding expectations. | |

Jas Bahra mentioned Connor Ronan and asked whether he was ready for senior football. Kenny responded: "He's excellent technically and will develop into a really good attacking midfielder. He has fantastic potential for after Christmas or next season. He is still young enough to play in our youth team but he won't. At the right time, there may be a loan for him.
