It is wrong to tar everyone with the same brush. The vast majority of the protestors would be peaceful and the cause is noble IMHO.
The major problem is that this type of protest will attract the andrchists in society. It is the danger of the gap being too wide between those with money and those without.
Cameron needs to be very careful as to where his £12b worth of cuts are going to fall.
Get it wrong and punish the weak again, plus a long hot summer, and the cars and buildings will be burning again.
And before I am accused of approving this I would add I abhor violent protest. I am merely stating what I can see happening. | |

I have some money ut not as much as many, including ps posters, who have bigger car/houses etc but Ive not felt the need to trash them or derise their accumulation of wealth.
SADLY, success which included financial reward is hated by some on here and its what po9llutes this fine country of ours.

If the opposition benches can get themselves organised and work together they can still make it difficult for the Torys to get some of their nastier policies through however I don't trust the SNP to not offer tacit support in crucial votes in exchange for more devolution. | |

Most people do not hate wealth. Granted some extremists would. The problem occurs when the gap is too wide and I would suggest we are approaching this point worldwide.
An example of this is Cameron's assertion that we are all in this together when facing the world financial crisis. We patently are not as it is the lower paid workers and those on benefits that are having to face the burden. This in turn provides ammunition for the extremists. Don't get me wrong the far left is every bit as bad as the far right. A fair society goes along way to nullify those with such agendas. | |

Unfortunately even if the SNP voted with labour along with the other non government parties the 12 member majority will see these policies through. 100 days to get them implemented has been mentioned and I would go along with this.
