For those of us who have nothing else to do......thanks to Grimsby Town!
My first attempt had QPR staying up quite easily on 39 points......Why?......No idea!

I got us 15th on 36pts.

Leicester, Villa and Burnley relegated with sunderland safe on goal difference on 33pts.

Think I was a bit pessimistic with every bottom half team rolling over for the big boys but I guess that's what happens after two years of Redknapp.

it's led me to consider many different issues....so as is usual a mere 33 points can keep a Club up, so that leaves QPR with a target of 11 points from 36.
Under Redknapps " management " it was unclear who or what our strengths where.
Sadly some might say Robert Green has given us a chance to stay up that Redknapp clearly failed to leave us with. You cannot win a competition by Keeper alone.
I sense, probably wrongly, that Chris Ramsey wants the team to grab the nettle and try and achieve, score goals and win.
The fragility of the back four means we need a greater attacking threat from the front four. Much depends on Ramsey's philosophy.
Three or Four wins, and or couple of draws would be enough.....QPR Jims targets for relegation can't be far out, certainly Villa and Leicester and par one out of Hull, Sunderland and Burnley.....Lets hope Chris Ramsey can finally get the performances we are due out of a squad that might improve without our sainted Leader Joseph Barton.
QPR to stay up is my wild guess!

we had a go at working out how many points we thought we'd get by the end of the season the other day but that was just by looking at the games left to play rather than a calculator - me, Blob and his brother. I could only find a measly 6 points that I thought we'd get (and that was me being positive), Blob managed to get us up to the mid 30s and his brother practically had us in Europe

Cheers to the author of this thread! I have a new website to visit on a daily (hourly?) basis!

I first calculated all of the current bottom six teams' results and we finished 5th from bottom! I only have us winning 3 of the remaining matches: Everton at home (we seem to have their number and this season they are as weak as I remember them being), West Ham at home and the dreaded Leicester away fixture right at the end.

Then I went back and just calculated QPR results and turned out the computer wasn't that harsh on our rivals as we ended up lower in the standing, but not enough to get relegated!

I had us like this:

Arsenal L
Spurs L
Crystal Palace D
Everton W
West Brom D
Chelsea L
Aston Villa D
West Ham W
Liverpool L
Man City L
Newcastle D
Leicester W

Three wins, four draws and five defeats.

17th, one point ahead of Hull. Burnley (19th) and Sunderland (20th). Computer is very soft on Leicester as they have them finishing 14th!

Finally, I let the computer calculate itself and she fücked us as this is her bottom 7!

Burnley 38 -20 41
Aston Villa 38 -24 41
Sunderland 38 -16 39
West Brom 38 -9 38
Leicester 38 -18 37
QPR 38 -18 35
Hull 38 -11 32

PS: Tomorrow I'll let you know how many results I picked differently!

I fear the season has got to him (and years of supporting QPR) - he's got us winning the next two against Arsenal and Spurs.

My points total came from the same group of games as QPR Arg but with draws not wins - not sure I could see where another win is coming from(although I'm hoping I'm wrong which I usually am)

Computer's out of its tiny non-existent mind if it thinks Burnley and Villa are going to get another 19 points each.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

I have us finishing 15th. I also have Villa to stay up, bottom 3 are Leicester, Hull and Burnley. We lose to Arsenal, Livepool and City. Pick up drawers at WBA, Palace, Chelsea and Tottenham and Leicester and Villa beat West Ham, Newcastle, Everton

I have us staying up on goal difference, level with Villa & Hull on 34pts with Villa going down.

I find it difficult to believe that would actually happen but the last day of the season away to Leicester could be huge!!!

Someone at the bottom usually goes on a late run. Leicester and Burnley have both been playing quite well and been unlucky at times, so it could well be one of them.

Villa looking better but not winning, long may that continue and their confidence will be further eroded.

Sadly, I don't think we will survive, however I didn't think we would stay up the first season last time, when we were abysmal away but a draw and five consecutive wins at home, with late winners in a couple of them, proved to be just enough.

With all the late goals we have conceded, surely we are due some ourselves.

Just done it again (told you so!) after today's games. Left the computer to simulate everything and while yesterday they had us in the bottom 2, now they place us as high as 13th!

Which leads me to believe they are just randomly picking the results (rather than using a sophisticated formula or system to do it).

And they have Man City winning the league!

Anyway...I'd LOVE this! Ha! It'd mean we'll get in the last 12 matches, the exact amount we got in the first 26. I don't see it, but here it is.

Would have thought getting random results is the only way to do it to be honest.
You would assume qpr away to man city is a loss, but in reality we'd probably win at least 5 times out of 100.

I like the idea of putting probabilities on each result instead of the same every time, and getting a different set of results each time you do it

I had Sunderland, Leicester and Burnley going down, us safe with 36 points. Only had us winning 3 more games though with draws at palace, west Brom and Leicester

I have us staying up. Man City avoid the drop as well.

36pts could be enough this term.....
for me it;s how qpr handle the pressure with every game seemingly a mini final....
we must stop the late goals leak and take whatever chances we get.
you could say we are in a london mini league right now, with
arsenal, spurs and palace upcoming with chelsea and hammers close behind.
