What evidence is there that Fan's know more about Football than Harry Redknapp and Tony Fernandes combined?
Quite clearly Redknapp has to complete the job he's started, we don't have enough time to let somebody take over this squad...only Hoddle could, but he may not have some players support.
The specialist Championship " Bounce " managers are gone or not available, Pardew, Pulis, Warnock. The Club isn't in good enough shape for Sherwood.
There are particular issues with QPR in that there is NO MONEY LEFT for Crouch or any other figment that the knowledgeable fans imagination conjures up.
So equally, there maybe no money to pay off HR and rev up a contract to get another reganam.
Harry Redknapp for all his faults is the only option, its not a huge ask to stay up, it seems unlikely given the home and away nature to the fixtures, but the relegation contenders are out of a potential group of 9 sides currently, including QPR and we play 7 of them....the mole is an invention of Redknapps to give the press story some validation....the man talks nonsense...but he is the Second Best English Football Manager in premiership history with a win ratio of over 36%....shocking but true...its time for him to start producing that return for TF, RG, QPR and those knowledgeable fans....36% just about keeps us up! Maybe!

But as as long as the likes of you Support your club going down the khasi then enjoy... More mug you for supporting that pile of turd away from home.!

There's no point in getting rid of Redknapp if there is no replacement lined up. And the only candidate under serious consideration seems to be Sherwood. There are too many reservations for him to be the anointed one.

I'm not saying Harry should stay beyond this season but he has a decent chance of keeping us up. It gives us time to find a replacement and the new man gets a start with a whole Summer to prepare.

Obviously quite a few people on here swallowed the idea that Redknapp would be sacked. Just read the thread.

True for the first three away games we were rubbish. Redknapp must take some of the blame for that, though not knowing until the end of May we were in the PL, the World Cup and injuries all played their part in us putting out a team of undercooked strangers in August.

I watched the West Ham game back the other day (because Zarate played in it). We played OK. Undone by an own goal early on that was handball. Performances (rather than results) in the away games since haven't been that bad imo. We are not diabolical away from home. The Burnley game was an even game. Play like that and cut out the one-off defensive errors and we will win games away from home.

Sure it is going to be a nervous few months. I reckon we are in a six way fight with Hull, Burnley, Leicester, Villa and Sunderland. It's about evens we go down. You may think we are rubbish, well they are no better than us.

Rednapp's management style has it's strengths and weaknesses. Some currently perceived weaknesses were regarded as strengths at Tottenham and Portsmouth. Example - allowing players to express themselves without being tied down too much with tactics. It is why he was long odds-on favourite for the England job. Now according to the barmy ones he is incapable of coaching or understanding tactics.

People lash out when things don't go our way. They panic, at least on the internet. Well that's up to them. I can't see why we can't nick a win at Stoke, Sunderland or Hull. This has the feel of 2011/2012 again. The run in was memorable and went our way, people on here were negative to the last in 2012.

That is a hell of a long post from someone who thinks that post on here is a waste of time.
People lash out, panic etc. ? No, football fans get pissed off when we lose, especially when we lose 10 in a row. When we win we are lovely people and buy rounds of drinks. That's football for you.
You can't see why we shouldn't win at Stoke, Sunderland and Hull ? I HOPE we do but common sense and all the indicators suggest we will extend our unenviable record.

played ok at west ham?. IT was fkn embarrasing to be in the crowd that day, they didnt even take us seriously, we were dismissed from the adults table like flashman dispensing an underling to fag for him.

in the 2nd half it became like a testimonal circa @1978 for a player about to embark on a career as a publican or insurance salesman.

At one point their players were allowed to run away from our goal , collect the ball from their half, turn and run into our half unopposed . the derision for us that day was tangible.

utter contempt. i was ashamed to be a fan that day

This was also the protocol at away games such as
Spurs
Man Utd
Arsenal up to 80 minutes
Newcastle
Burton Albion
Everton- how people have the front to say we controlled the game and were unlucky is a mystery to me

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

christ we were bad that day, toyed with like a cat treats a mouse by fkn west ham utd.

still can live it down with my lot.

I know mate , Problem is we can see it , TF cant or chooses not to,
we could had Pullis months ago, look at what he has done already at West Brom it aint pretty but nor is having the worst defence in the league

I can only compare this Arry situation to my 1st Divorce where we both had to live in the same house for 3 months until everything was finalised , neither of us wanted to be there and we just wanted to move on ,both of us hating the other and going through the motions
we can only hope and pray Disco that Arry is gone after the season

Back to that game West Ham at one point declared on the 60th minute and it turned into Austria vs West Germany for the last half hour ,
what's more galling is the fact that West Hams fans couldn't even be arsed either
one of the worst London Derby's in living memory

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Good to know we were just unlucky in every away game this season....

And every away game versus top half oppo last season...

And almost every away game the season before...

No trend there [reinserts head into sand]

Odds on favourite for the England job ? Fck me you're gullible. The FA say he was never in the frame.
Just a wheeze to get a better price on Hodgeson.

Yes Redknapp was 5/1 on or some such price. I backed Hodgson at 14/1 on grounds that Redknapp as England manager would be a sitting duck for the press and the FA would swerve him. If the threads are still there you will find the herd on here all favoured Redknapp and were quite upset when Hodgson got it.

Come on he was the favourite, whether the FA were going to hire him or not is another thing but at the time I think most expected him to get the job

Gone on 19:56 - Jan 20 with 2434 viewsjohncharles

He was the most pumped up by his media mates but he was never seriously considered by the FA.
Some dubious people made money by treating him as a real candidate, taking money off the gullible at the same time getting better odds on Hodgeson. I wonder if Harry had a bet?

There was never a shadow of a doubt that Redknapp was the most successful of the English managers, and most thought he would get the job.Hence 5/1 on. Like I said he gives good players confidence and the freedom to play and express themselves. That was seen as an advantage after Capello. Now with us it's a disadvantage according to the herd on here, who want more coaching, tactics, systems.......

Best just to let Redknapp get on with the job I think. There will be different QPR manager for the idiots to hound soon enough.

Hodgson was the best choice for England because (a) He's English (b) his experience and comparative success at international level (c) he is able, more or less, to keep the media at bay and get on with the job, which is something no other England manager has been able to do for twenty years.
