Talking of Goddesses : Cecile Paoli - the best of Jim Bergerac's lady friends. She could have shown me the hidden parts of her Jersey anytime (copyright SATW) .Symptomatic of the series , the scenery was better than the plotlines.
I would have to have to say Columbo, but there were so many since the 1960s all offering difrrent skills and in some cases humour- ( Sorry for any mis-spellings) McCloud, Cannon, McMillan and wife, the Snoop Sisters, Bannacech, Petrocelli, Kojak, Sherlock Holmes (Jeremy Brett version), Marple, Morse, Lewis, Bergarac, Wycliffe, Starsky and Hutch, Poirot, Carter and Regan (the Sweeney), George Dixon (of Dock Green - he offered re-assurance rather than solving crimes), Jane Tennyson, Jessica Fletcher, Cagney and Lacey, Ironside to name but a few !
