Away allocations. on 13:09 - Dec 4 with 2418 views | Capt_Koons | As I understand it, and I'm sure someone will correctly if I'm wrong, there is no minimum allocation for away supporters in league games, however for cup games there is a minimum of 25% if required.

Away allocations. on 13:31 - Dec 4 with 2397 views | Poole_Saints1 | I always thought it was 10% up to a maximum of 3k, however if the home club wishes they can give more than 3k. Hence we will always gvie the 3k if the away team desires that number. Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs for example will always give the minimum 3k as they know they can shift all their tickets. I think this is the same for other leagues too but again, correct me if i am wrong.
Away allocations. on 14:09 - Dec 4 with 2362 views | Poole_Saints1 | FA Cup is supposed to be 15%. The 25% was the good old days!
Away allocations. on 15:08 - Dec 4 with 2333 views | BarnetSaint | Once again, big clubs such as ar$e and Man U manipulating this to suit their own agenda. It should be the same for everyone. ( ok teams like Wigan can afford to give a whole end away but u get my drift )

Away allocations. on 18:52 - Dec 4 with 2255 views | BarnetSaint | Haha excellent dirk I bet the worzels wish they'd been given the press box or dug out. Neither would have accommodated their Mong collective.
Away allocations. on 19:03 - Dec 4 with 2249 views | TheKraken | It's the same rule for every club. A minimum of 10% away seats made available or 3,000, whichever is the smaller number (i.e. clubs like Swansea with a smaller capacity only have to make 2,200 tickets available to away fans). Saints have always made up to around 3,200 available as that's the way segregation works out of the away blocks.
Away allocations. on 10:06 - Dec 5 with 2157 views | Golac_Nuts | I guess it's probably fair, but 3000 at ours, certainly makes a bigger impression than the same at say The Emirates.
Away allocations. on 10:55 - Dec 5 with 2141 views | solent_toffee | Thats how many you used to bring to Woodison, back in the day.
Away allocations. on 11:19 - Dec 5 with 2132 views | Poole_Saints1 | Everton have always had a very good away support but you benfit from having fans spread all over the country. You'll probably have more fans from the south coast in your away allocation at St Mary's in December than from Liverpool. I know 9 that are going from Poole!
Away allocations. on 13:14 - Dec 5 with 2104 views | dirk_doone | The Premier League doesn't seem to publish numbers for away fans. This is all I could find on Google. From these numbers it would appear Saints and Everton's away support is fairly similar in numbers. But, Everton has always been one of our least popular away games, probably because we have such a terrible record there. We usually only take about 1,500 up there. http://www.thefootballforum.net/index.php?/topic/219225-away-support/

Away allocations. on 13:20 - Dec 5 with 2099 views | SalisburySaint | That's true, but only for one tuesday night game 2 days after the JDS Final against Forest in 92, we would always take a minimum of 300 to away games for Northern games in those days whereas we now take a minimum of around a thousand to every game now Having said that very few clubs then regularly took the numbers they do now to away games back in 92, and when we played Chelsea at Stamford Bridge that season we had 1,000 up there out of a crowd of 7,148, which I let the current Glory boys form thje bridge know any chance I get http://www.11v11.com/matches/chelsea-v-southampton-12-february-1992-90420/
Away allocations. on 16:19 - Dec 5 with 2067 views | solent_toffee | You're probably right, I think a lot of people moved down here in the eighties for work and stayed on, had families etc. Our South Coast club has over 200 members now, including those 9 lads from Poole
Away allocations. on 16:56 - Dec 5 with 2054 views | Mushty | And to be fair, that's more than you had at the Dell just after the 1984 semi final. Don't know why?
Away allocations. on 19:56 - Dec 5 with 2021 views | solent_toffee | They were all saving up for the second trip to Wembley in a few weeks. Not me like, I was a mere nipper.
