Have you actually read through the report ? It wasn't written by some 'boffin' but by a think tank that was comprised of and consulted with many high known ex black footballers. The report stated that there is institutional racism within football recruitment with many coaching jobs being given through a network of informal processes that breach fair and open competition. i.e an old boys network.
Out of over 500 top footballing coaching roles at clubs just 19 are black. They can't be right and something football needs to address. | |

Yeah I read the report, but nowhere do they provide any evidence whatsoever that ANY black or Asian ex player has been discriminated against. What it does say though is that 25% of black players are NOT completing their coaching badges, and the best way to change things is not to discriminate against white or any other colour for that matter, but get the black players to get the necessary qualifications to get the jobs on offer. What about the Tory Cabinet!, The House of Lords, the Royal family , Judges etc. what's the proportion of black people there
When it comes to football if it's an old boys network it discriminates against anyone who's not in it regardless of colour
