Someone mentioned this in another thread but I actually agree with Ranger. Unless you would have put some very tight clauses in his contract about cancelling it for bad behaviour etc, how would you have kept him on track? Least this way everyone knows where they stand and potentially you'll get more out of the player. Not the right deal for the majority but I agree with this one.
