Think we'll give them a better game than Spurs but can't see us winning. 2-1 to the cheque book champions. Charlie to score after reminding the sky audience what a proper centre forward looks like.
Just hope we don't sit back and give them too much respect. I'd rather us go for it and lose by 2 or 3 than sit back and let them come at us constantly like the Man City game.

Or, will he keep faith with our winning team from last time out (were they 4-3-3 or 4-1-4-1?) with maybe Sandro replacing the injured Barton:
Green Isla, Caulker, Ferdinand, Hill Sandro Philipps, Fer, Mutch, Hoilett Austin
Whichever team he puts out and however they set up, do we actually have a chance (given United at home, desperate for the first win, with loads of new flair players and huge resources at their disposal)?
I just hope we give a better account of ourselves than we did at Tottenham. Hopefully the Rs will fight for every ball, and get a breakaway goal and hold off the pressure for as long as possible...maybe clinging on for a point. However, we'll probably get beaten by 4 or 5 and the press will begin their accolades for Van Gaal's new United!

Bloody hell nice early start jools! Yesterday i was thinking so Falcao,Blind, and Rojo will start for them and totally forgot they also have Di Maria as well. Hoping they have one of those days like we did against Hull.

This is going to be like watching the daleks on Dr Who. Need to hide behind the sofa. Can't see anything other than a 4-0 tonking at least and the big Man U w@nkfest hits overdrive. I hope Hill doesn't get shown up.

I don't think he have much of a chance of winning but Villa showed last night if we are organised, show ambition going forward and work hard then any match is winnable. They key will be stopping the forwards getting on the ball and in space so defend from the front, cut out space and close down the United midfield as quickly as possible.
Lets be honest though I think we'll all take a 2-0 defeat, no injuries or red cards and get back to games we have a chance in over the next few weeks

Don't think parking the bus is a good idea. Their attack is considerably better than Derby's and they will break though. No pressure on us so might as well try and target their weak defence. If were going to lose might as well make a game out of it
