Last time we'll be bottom? 20:07 - Sep 13 with 1008 viewsBFC_Tim

Don't know what anyone else thinks but I genuinely believe that will be the last time we'll be bottom this season. This group of players just needs more games and more time to gel and if we can just get a win on Saturday I can see us pushing forward. To say that we were relegation favourites was clearly made by those who hadn't been to see us. We should have had a point against Blackburn, Brentford and Wigan and should easily now be on 4 points.

Today was a turning point and I can see us being out of the bottom three by the end of this month.

Here's hoping Tim. Today was a good day.

I agree Tim, we were not relegation material at all today. We were unlucky to lose against Blackburn and with better finishing could have won the game today. Hopefully, the more this team plays together the stronger we will get.

Would love to believe you're right, Tim, but am worried about a lack of strength in depth. Couple of injuries today and we seem no nearer in bringing in quality replacements as no-one's speaking to each other at the top

Teach the midfield to pass the ball in a forward direction and we'll be a mid table team in no time!

Totally lacking creativity in midfield. Joan Oriol was better today but is not a defensive FB. Could be more of a contributor if he played in front of a defender on the left side. He had a decent understanding with his twin brother but is poor in the tackle.
Perkins and Lundstrum give the ball away too frequently and are unable to find a forward pass when it's needed.
Attacking options are slow and predictable we need a forward with some flair, but defensively there seems to be a good understanding between the two CBs and McMahon.
A couple of good loan signings and we could move away from the bottom, but a long way to go yet. One point from 3 home games is hardly fortress Bloomfield yet. If we win the rest of our home games we will only get 60 points so form has to improve both home and away.

Grouse - agree about midfield - Perkins is no better than League One - runs around players like a little whippet but pass him the ball and he's like a headless chicken!

Win on Tuesday and we could be out of the bottom three.

All of that winning home and away business comes with confidence - THEE most important thing now is that same level of performance and attitude on Tuesday. A win and the football world will seem a whole lot better!!

We've dodged the bottom bullet again! Fulham are at Birmingham next week - Huddersfield host Millwall and Bolton play Derby - if we get that elusive win then maybe, just maybe we might climb out of the bottom three (although Middlesborough the following Tuesday seems to be a tougher ask!)

If we can get to the next international break out of the bottom three then I think it should be considered job done. I'd like to think despite Norwich and Cardiff at home being tough asks (and no Lewis for Cardiff) and a stinker at Boro that we can get 4 points which might be enough to bring us back to a half decent position.

If we can just stay in touch for me the season will be decided from Ipswich at home and on - you have to be looking to at least 8 wins in these games as the season gets tougher at the end.

When you look at our fixtures until November, every point will be a bonus - why Ranger missing his pen still sticks in the craw!

We can't score goals and create very little at the minute.fantastic point against Brighton which the players showed real spirit.we need to get a striker in and someone who can create some chances.
