My favourite commentator was Peter Jones though Barry Davies is probably my favourite TV one. I used to like Hugh Johns commentating on Wrexham games on the itv sport round ups as he was like a voice from another era when I was a kid. Irc he did the world cup final in 66 on the other side from kenneth Wolstenholme. On that note, best team of presenters had to be Wolstenholme doing the voice overs, James Richardson anchoring and Peter Brackley commentating on the Italian football on c4. Quite why James Richardson hasn't ever done motd 2 is beyond me. It's made for him. I don't mind some of the younger five live commentators. Anyone but alan green. | | | |
