Everyone agrees it's barbaric and abhorent, whether they have seen it or not. No one has glorified it and everyone agrees it should not be watched. I think the bigger issue about the war and terrorism etc... is still worthy of discussion/debate no?
The point I tried to make on the other thread was that we as a civilsed nation find this kind of thing incredibly disturbing. There are hundreds of thousands of innocent people in the middle of war zones that see this kind of horror every day. Families destroyed either by bombings or individual acts of barbarism and murder, these poor people must be scarred for life.
The very worrying thing is that the perpetrators of these horrific acts are now desensitised to committing such atrocities. I do worry about what's to come... | | | |

I got rid of it. And this one's about to go the same way.
For future reference, threads where people talk about beheading videos they've seen or not seen will always be deleted. Sorry about that.
The thread yesterday went, and any future ones like it will go as well. Everybody on here knows what everybody else thinks on that issue, who thinks we should let everybody in and all hold hands, who thinks we should let nobody in, who thinks it's funny to tell paki jokes, who thinks who is an idiot with their head in the sand and so on. Those threads go on and on and on and on and on, 15, 16, 17 pages sometimes, filled with posters abusing one another. I'm not willing to sit and moderate that pointless sht, and I don't want visitors to the site logging onto the message board and seeing 17 pages of bile like that at the top of the board.

his early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when BROMLY HOOP put me on the ignore list (again),I think he really came into his own, commercially and artistically.
all his postings have a clear, crisp vibe , and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the message board a big boost. He's been compared to walter kronkite , but I think pam aryes has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor..
